Retirement Planning

What does retirement mean to you? Travelling the world? Starting a new career? Or maybe you don’t plan to retire at all! Retirement doesn’t mean the same thing to everyone, so retirement planning should take that into account.

Our advisors start every planning meeting with a discussion about your goals.  We look at where you are now and where you want to be and a plan is crafted with your unique circumstances in mind. We are well versed in all types of retirement plans, IRAs, and other savings vehicles, so we can help you calculate how much you need to save, as well as when to start taking distributions in order to meet RMD regulations and minimize the tax impact to your accounts.

Included in our analysis are two big items that are frequently overlooked, but can derail even the most detailed plan if not considered - inflation and health care costs. As these rise, they can consume a large portion of your retirement savings if you don't plan for them. As you can see, retirement planning should encompass more than just putting aside part of your paycheck in a retirement account. While this is a great start, we can help you look at all aspects of your financial life to make sure they are all working in conjunction with one another and progressing towards your goals.

We have selected these videos and presentations as a guide to retirement planning.  We invite you to call us to schedule a complimentary review meeting and make sure you are on the path to making your retirement dreams a reality.
