At Barker Financial, our process is designed with communication at its core. Your team of wealth advisors are in contact with you often, helping you anticipate and navigate all of life's transitions.
Review and Plan - Each introductory meeting starts with a straight forward, one on one conversation about what you want to accomplish and how we might help you. Because we place an emphasis on this phase, your financial plan is completely customized to your unique circumstances. It will show you things like our proposed asset allocation, the optimal age for you to begin Social Security payments, and an overview of the most tax efficient way to disburse funds in retirement. The plan is yours to keep whether or not you choose to continue working with us.
Implement and Manage - If you choose to work with our wealth managers, they will guide you through the set up process and make sure you understand each step. Securities are carefully selected to reflect a broad range of asset types, sectors, and industries - while still keeping in mind your risk tolerance, time horizon, and overall goals.
Monitor and Report - The market changes over time, and so will your life. If we believe it’s time for modifications or adjustments, we’ll let you know and more importantly, explain why. We will provide periodic performance reports and explanations that are easy to understand. In other words, you will always know exactly how your financial portfolio is doing. We will also keep you updated on relevant tax laws, economic news, and current events that will affect you.
Ongoing Commitment To You - Wealth management is not a one-time event. It is an ongoing process that changes with life's events. Your investment strategy needs to be dynamic to keep pace with these events. Your wealth advisors will meet with you as often as necessary, but at least annually, to discuss any changes in your circumstances or your goals. Whether you need to take a disbursement, have questions about your account, or have a major change on the horizon, your team is available to speak with you and will make sure your portfolio is adjusted accordingly.
Raising a Family
Did you know that if not addressed appropriately from a financial perspective, each of these events could have an impact on your wealth accumulation over time? Not rolling over a 401(K) from a previous employer could mean higher expenses and limited investment options that eat into your growth. Not titling assets properly after a divorce could mean your assets transfer to your former spouse at your passing. No matter the event, our wealth advisors will help you take the necessary steps to preserve your wealth.
Working with a wealth advisor can make all the difference in your wealth accumulation goals. We are here to help. Don’t wait! Call or email us today to get started.
