Insurance Planning

Insurance transfers the financial risk of life's events to an insurance company. A sound insurance strategy can help protect your family from the financial consequences of those events. Depending on your age and your specific situation, your strategy might include life insurance, liability insurance, or disability insurance - or some combination of all of them.

As part of our comprehensive planning process, we look at your overall financial picture, including any existing coverage you may have, and help you decide what makes the most sense in order to provide the level of protection you are seeking. In many cases, the right insurance product is a good addition to your overall financial plan.

We can help you analyze the options and, if it makes sense for your individual circumstances, show you how it fits with the other pieces of your financial puzzle. We will never recommend insurance unless there is a good reason to have it.  We consider things like the age of your children, the size of your estate and potential estate taxes, and your ability to pay for long term health care. Your plan will include details of both the costs and benefits of any recommendations we have so you can clearly see the impact and make a well informed decision. Because we receive no compensation in any form for insurance consulting, you can be assured that we provide objective advice.

Below is more information about various forms of insurance and how they might benefit you. If you have questions, give us a call. We would be happy to talk with you about how we might be able to help.
