Barker Financial is a wealth management advisor. Our services include Wealth Management and Financial Planning for individuals and families, and establishing and maintaining Retirement Plans for Small Business Owners. Our value to you, our client, goes much deeper than simply creating a financial plan and managing assets. We provide you with unbiased advice in all areas of your financial life, not just your investments.
Since our founding in 1997, our philosophy has not waivered. We listen – to your experiences, your goals, your concerns. Our goal is to build a long-term, trusting relationship with you and your family, one where you feel comfortable asking questions and knowing you will get answers. So we continue to listen, well past the initial planning meeting, so we can anticipate your needs and make adjustments as they are needed.
Transparency – You will have a view into everything we do for you and we will make sure you understand everything that happens in your portfolio. Our fees are straight forward and clearly defined in our ADV Part 2A. For Financial Planning, a flat fee will be quoted in advance of creating the plan. For Wealth Management, we simply charge a fee based on a percentage of assets under management.
Objectivity – We are a fiduciary with a legal obligation to put our clients’ interests above our own. We are not affiliated with any broker-dealer, we do not sell any products, and we earn no commissions.
Security – We use qualified third-party custodians to hold assets and everything remains in your name. You will receive statements directly from the custodian showing all holdings and transactions.
Lower Costs – We seek out institutional investment vehicles with lower expenses and select custodians that offer lower trading costs per transaction, keeping more of your investment working for you. This can make a difference in wealth accumulation over time.
Attention and Service – We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service possible. We welcome questions whenever you have them and we’ll make sure you get timely and accurate responses.
